Could you believe I hosted three families ( to be precise 3 couples ) this weekend . I myself couldn't have imagined doing this a year back but lately I am getting used to all socialites and doing my bits(of course in a garbled fashion ! ) To host someone in our country is altogether a tough task. And especially when you got to host a family. It's very likely that you will botch up the relations altogether than strengthening your kinships. In as much as guests are humans , they come in all flavors ranging from unpalatable , exploding, imposing In -laws to your close friends and you have to adjust yourself. I find these extreme cases easiest to handle mostly because I don't have any In-laws and partly because my friends find me somewhat amicable! (Hope they keep this even after reading this blog ! ) and a headstrong pacifist ( Ahem, I have to take that role y when I realize that they all can go nuts if not stopped then ) Yeah so the difficult ones are those who fall somewhere in middle of theses extremes. I simply get badly befuddled at the thought of finding the appropriate limits - How much to cater ?How much hospitality would do? which restaurant to take them ? Should I take off from office and be around with them ?and a fear starts looming over. This time I was hell bent on making decisions on the spur of the moment and defying all the management lessons which I had studied in college. This approach of less premeditation worked quite well, at least you don't feel fatigued if you take this approach. So here's the lesson -
Don't be much premeditated be spontaneous !
Don't be much premeditated be spontaneous !
