Forgot to close the kitchen tap, and it happened! the flat got flooded! All neighbors were waiting outside our flat and were gaping at us with a killing look. As soon as we opened the main gate water started running out !10 inch Water everywhere inside ! Thesuarus and all other books floating in water, my favorite pair of shoes , clothes all wet and damaged :( . I prayed all the GODS . . . These are times when we miss our families and have to repent for the LONELY living . Five hours of hard work to restore the house in somewhat livable situation. Even after that no beds , no current (as had to remove the fuse to prevent shocks from common earthing) and mosquitoes singing the best music and working diligently to suck us after water had flooded us !! And to add to our miseries we hadn't taken dinner on that day. We offering a scene of flood to the neighbors, the night was a complete mess. Hope you learn a lesson and close the taps before you leave the house, otherwise you too will add an unnecessary post to blogger! Oh yeah forgot to tell that day also was a complete mess I had to get a DD of some amount and filled the amount incorrectly :( and not over while fixing a bug added two more :( in the office( Thanks to UNIX filters could trace them very easily ) !!
